Nice rack you have there.

The episode starts off with a dream sequence when an unknown man warns Yuu about things to come.  Yuu wakes up to find the Ayakashi mark on his hand.   At school the next day Yuu is training alone while Eimu watches on.   Two new characters are introduced.  A boy named Nogi who is an Ayakashi user and has the ability to wipe out someone's existence by sending them to another dimension; and a mysterious girl named Orie who is looking for something and also seems like only certain people can see her.

Nogi tries to flirt with Hime, but Hime has no interest and blows him off.  This of course pissed Nogi off and he ambushes her while she is alone.  As Yuu and Orie are looking for Hime at school, Nogi appears and attacks them.  Orie pushes Yuu out of the way as Nogi's Ayakashi Iwana swallows her.  As Yuu was about to be swallowed, Eimu arrives with Akurou and rescues Yuu.  Another new character appears - Kadoya, who is Nogi's accomplice as well as Ayakashi user.  It is also revealed that those 2 are working for Kare.

Soon after, Nogi snaps as Kadoya realizes that Nogi is being controlled by his own Ayakashi.  Nogi has Iwana jump into him, causing Nogi to disappear and revealing the "Perfect Form".  Yuu comes up with a plan where he'll become bait to get eaten, find Orie and Hime to rescue them, then have Akurou pull them out.  After being swallowed, Yuu sees Orie and Hime, but struggles to get to them.  With things not looking good, the Ayakashi within Yuu is awakened.  This causes Iwana to jump out of the ground, giving an opportunity for Akurou to strike.  Akurou lands a direct hit and it results in Yuu, Hime, and Orie being freed.

Impressions:

Looks like the main plotline is beginning to move along nicely.   We're finding out more and more about Ayakashi and what they're about.  I can understand now why Eimu was so adamant about warning Yuu about the dangers of the Ayakashi.  As we saw with Nogi in this ep, things can get out of hand pretty quickly.  The end of the ep suggests that Kare will be taking action personally, which seems rather early at this point.   It's still unclear as to why he's so interested in Yuu specifically, but clearly he knows more about Yuu than even Yuu knows about himself.   Eimu also seems to know what's going on.  I wonder if somebody sent her to protect Yuu or if she came on her own accord because she's known Yuu for a long time.   Should be interesting to see how this plays out.
