Little Fumika is shown playing in the forest. She seems to converse with someone who is not there, indicating that she may already have DID.

Pretty strong indications, actually.
Shifting back to the present, Kirameki is his usual unorthodox self, completely unfettered that he's just shot his daughter. Kaname roundhouses Kirameki, while Natsuka tends to Fumika. Haruno stands around uselessly, torn between her admiration for Kirameki's work and the realization of his true persona.

The moment we've all been waiting for.
Kaname and Haruno lock Kirameki up, while Natsuka catches a glimpse of Fumika's miraculous recovery abilities.

That looks bad

Oh wut

C'mon you can make it

Ah, there we go.
Kaname and Haruno join up with Natsuka and Fumika, as Fumika begins her life's story. (FINALLY!)
Fumika was raised by Kirameki. Her mother, Aizawa Kirei (What's with these names?), divorced Kirameki right after Fumika was born. Kirameki was a kind father, until… something went wrong. Kirameki began to have Fumika participate in 'art' sessions - where he would write on her entire body with a glass pen. If the uncomfort of that wasn't enough, Kirameki's usual nutjob self would arbitrarily begin venting his frustrations with Aizawa on Fumika. This generally involved a lot of stabbity and ow.

Wow, he doesn't look like a batshit insane psychopath.

I sure hope that's washable marker.

If you haven't noticed, 'Kirei' is 'beautiful' in Japanese …causes Kirameki's furious rage, etc etc. Also, eyeshadow.

I LOVE COLOURING
Despite this, Fumika still loved Kirameki. That is, until one day, Kirameki psychopathic anger against his former wife led him to say 'I hate you' to Fumika. (While stabbing her with his glass pen, of course.) Childhood trauma, etc, leads Fumika to split her personality. She is now 'Fumi' and 'Mika'. The Fumika telling the story says she is 'Mika', whereas 'Fumi' is still in a coma in the hospital.

So…cold…

I'd be traumatized too.

Hello thar, Mika.
Fumika never attended school until middle school, where she met Kaname and Natsuka. She was scared, but managed to be friends with Natsuka, because the latter was such a bumbling fool. Additionally, 'Mika' says that 'Fumi' rejected Kaname because she was surprised, not that she didn't like him.
Story over, the group hears an explosion. Fumika mutters 'Kirameki' and runs off. Kirameki is shown picking out one of too many weapons he has, when Fumika bursts in. She charges him, and he fires but misses. Pinning Kirameki to the ground, 'Mika' says that she is the one who shot him. (Duh!) However, 'Fumi' blamed herself, and that is why she is now in a coma. 'Mika' wants to kill Kirameki, but is stopped by Haruno. Haruno says that Kirameki should work off his 'debt', by paying for 'Fumi''s hospital bills or something like that.

Mika takes responsibility.

Oh shi-

Coma reason explained, etc.

Worst reason ever.
The group leaves (Haruno stays behind), and Kanaka reveals that Mika took the job as a deliverer to wait for Fumi to wake up. Natsuka and Kaname ask Mika if they can wait as well, since they are her friends. Fumika smiles, and says 'Thanks'.

More enlightenment.

Awh.

Thoughts:
Yay! Finally we get the story behind Fumika! We also answer some questions, like why Mika ages - she is one and the same with Fumi. It's a bit wierd now, referring to Mika and Fumi as two different people, since they are the same person … okay, yeah, headache. Can't say it wasn't creative, though. As for the names that have been used (Kirameki, Kirei), they're pretty pretentious, aren't they?
