As Rin and Mimi conduct their regular morning vodka-water routine, Maeno is elsewhere. Spotting a crying girl standing by a window, Maeno asks her what's the matter. She responds that she is looking for an angel.

'Kay. Wait, wut?
Meanwhile, Rin and Mimi are approached by a man named Kodaka Saburo, who asks them to find a…stamp. Some 'Sutherland Stamp'. Rin, with her infinite connections, knows just who to find. She immediately seeks out a man referred to as 'Sensei', despite the fact that he's a tent-dwelling hobo. He's apparently poor because he lost it all in the 'crash', and could sell his stamp collection for millions but is too attached to it. Whatever, point is, he knows a lot about stamps. According to 'Sensei', there only exist maybe 10 Sutherland stamps in Japan. After Rin leaves, it is revealed that 'Sensei' himself owns one.

'Kodaka Saburo'. Um let's see, interesting facts about him… OH! He dies.

'Sensei'. Moral of character: Stamp collector = hobo
That night, a couple are committing naughty acts when they are killed by an angel-like silhouette. The killer leaves a note on the wall, 'Angel' written in blood.
Next morning it is revealed that a diplomat by the name of Yahagi Jun was killed. Rin recognizes the picture as none other than 'Kodaka Saburo'. Contacting her police 'friend' brings no leads, even after Rin threatens him with the termination of her silence. After he leaves, a hobo tells Rin to come quick, since Sensei had been attacked. Checking Sensei's tent, Rin finds that all his stamps have been stolen. Almost immediately is Rin attacked by the assassin from the previous episode. (I thought she was dea- whatever, I shouldn't be surprised anymore.)

How many times will you ALMOST-die?
The fight scene switches back and forth between itself and Maeno's investigation. The girl Maeno is helping, Yuki-chan, says she had a brother. Incidentally, he's been missing and looks undeniably like the silhouette of the 'angel'. Anyway. Rin gets shot a few times before pinning the assassin, yelling, 'Did Apos ask you to do this?!'. The latter only grins, opening her bodysuit to reveal an explosive melded into her chest.

Ew.

Boom.
Seeing smoke, Maeno goes to investigate. He follows blood into an alley to find Rin, where he witnesses her regeneration. (And is subsequently traumatized.) Running back to Asougi Investigation's offices (Yes he leaves her there.), he is confronted by Mimi, who gives some answers. (Finally!) She and Rin both have some 'time spore' in their bodies, which causes them to be immortal.

Annnnd the tree. Which apparently spews the time spores.
Rin silently curses Apos, and speaking of which…

Totally NOT Apos. Like totally. Not.
A young man with red eyes and blonde hair (Hey, he's in the OP) is shown. He is speaking to a blinded, bound, and gagged girl, who is apparently pierced in several places with swords. The reason she is still alive reveals itself when the man calls her 'immortal'.
Meanwhile, a series of murders is carried out, each bearing a resemblance to the first, with 'Angel' plastered on the walls in the victims' blood. One of Rin's gangster contacts was a victim. (Okay I'm tired, so prepare for SPEEEEEEEEEEEED SUMMARY.)

BLOOD
Rin is taken in by the police for questioning, and Maeno does his own investigations. After Rin is released, she finds another contact, whose price is apparently lesbian intercourse with Rin. Police had thought the next target was an American named James Markando. However the real target is a Stalin fanatic named Alexander Coshcheco. Something about Council of People's Commissars (aka. Red March), power struggle, and assassination.

Bang!
Maeno leaves the room, and Rin tells Mimi their enemy is an angel, scaring the latter. Later, a chance connection between the words 'stamp' and 'assassin' sets off a light bulb for Rin. She suspects the killer to be the legendary assassin who only accepts rare stamps as payment. Meanwhile another 'angel' murder, and Yuki catches a glimpse of her brother, only to see him fly off.

Did it get cold or what?

O M G
Rin and crew find some information left behind by Yuki's brother, and Mimi decodes it with her AWESOME 16bit, 40MHz, 128mb RAM, 300mb HDD PC. On the balcony later, Rin explains more about herself. Time spores only give immortality to women, it turns men into 'angels'. The angels' purpose is to kill immortals, and the two are irresistibly attracted to each other. 'Angels' only live for 2-3 weeks after they are created.

Yeah, that'll run DOS pretty well.
Somehow, Rin finds the assassin, and divulges his entire plan. She says she won't interfere, he should continue, but… yeah, right. Of course, Rin wouldn't die even if she was killed, so she manages to get Sensei's stamp back from the assassin. However, Yuki's brother busts in, and after mortally wounding the assassin, stalks toward Rin.

That's some good acupuncture. Or just puncture.
Unable to control her urges, Rin embraces the angel, and it flies off with her. She does, however, attempt to injure it along the way. Ending up in a park, the angel begins its dinner (Rin), but Rin pushes it into a tree branch, impaling it. (Wut.) As the angel turns to dust, it whispers, 'Yuki'. A time spore falls out, and the apparition from episode 1 appears. This is Apos, and Rin obviously hates him. He also looks like the young man with blonde hair and red eyes, so go figure. Rin tells Apos to go away, and he does. Maeno shows up, and Rin gives him the time spore.

What a groper.

Om nom nom nom

Yuki… beware… tree branches….
Next day, Rin returns Sensei's stamps. Maeno attempts to comfort Yuki, and gives her the time spore.
Thoughts:
I can't say for sure I understood the story behind this. Definitely blood action to be had, though. The angel had been doing the murders, including Snake Head (Rin's gangster contact). However, Rin says that the assassin got the RPG from Snake Head. I also don't see what the assassin did besides attack Sensei, since the Yuki's brother did all the killing. Call me stupid, but a lot of this just kind of went over my head and I stopped caring. Few interesting things the assassin's return (I don't think we've seen the last of her, lol.), the tree branch of STEEL. Either that or angels pierce super easy. Oh, and, Apos seems like a faggot. That is all.

The angel died rather easily imho (the tree branch killed him but all the stabbings by Rin couldn’t kill him?)…but I did enjoy the free flow of blood in the show.
