Getting a facial.

We find out that Izumi used to work for Kare (more like tricked by him and his devious smile). With her mind-reading ability, she can find Ayakashi users easily. Kare is seeking the Dragon user. His ultimate play, obviously, is to eventually cease control of the Dragon and make it his own.

Although Izumi realizes later of Kare's evil intentions, it is too late as Kare finds out that Yuu is the Dragon user. Izumi tries to run away but Eimu is sent after her. They eventually reach the riverbanks where Yuu happens to be. Yuu sees Izumi in danger and involuntarily releases the Dragon. Kare arrives and summons his Orichi ayakashi to try to consume the dragon. Unfortunately for Yuu, he is unable to save Izumi and she is presumably killed by Eimu's ayakashi.

Back to the present. Eimu tries to get Yuu to snap out of his trance state but to no avail. Yuu awakens but is clearly not himself. The memory of Izumi's death has caused him to snap and consumed with anger. In full ayakashi mode, he tries to kill Eimu. Hime arrives and tells Yuu to stop. However, Yuu takes a swipe at both Eimu and Hime, sending both into the air. Hime seems to have taken the bulk of the blow, as she is left unconscious (and possibly dead). Yuu finally returns to normal and realizes what he's done. He holds Hime as he lets out a blistering scream.

Impressions:
The story will probably take on a more serious tone from hereon, especially if Hime is dead. Should be interesting to see How Yuu's character will change now that his memories have return, in particular what will he say or do to Eimu??

Okay, you pretty much covered on everything as for this episode’s arc. Yuu probably is gonna change for awhile. Whether it be for better or for worst, we’ll find out later. Actually, I can see Hime dying. Maybe not now, but later on. I’m certin she saw the snow in the first episode as well. So, she might eat it after releasing her Ayakashi at a critcal moment later in the series…or not. Who knows? I never really played the game, so I don’t know how many possible endings their can be. But the series can only do one. As for Eimu, it be best if she keeps her distance from Yuu for awhile. He’s gonna have to overcome this on his own. Unless, they introduced a new character for that purpose. I’m trying to figure out if Kare’s ayakashi is in control of him all the way, or is he doing this of his own free will. Like to know more of his past myself. Also, it’s nice to know that some of the Ayakashis can take human shape forms too. Have someone to talk to atleast. Funny how she calls her master but yet, their the ones that take over your body and use your lifeforce as candy until you die. You might as well call them master. Anyways, hoping for the next episode to be done soon.

It was pretty obvious Izumi could read minds and Hime should die already. I mean, stuff her, I can’t stand her.
