With impeccable timing, Kaname and Natsuka show up minutes after Fumi-chan wakes up.
Meanwhile, it is revealed that the Mika's pistol is in fact, a Shigofumi, meant for Fumi-chan.
Mika intends to have Fumi shoot her with the pistol, thereby 'punishing' herself for causing Fumi-chan's coma.
Amidst the hubbub of Fumi-chan's awakening, Chiaki divulges her newly acquired information to Kaname and Natsuka. The three now have a common goal - to prevent Mika from disappearing.
On cue, Mika herself is on her way to visit Fumi-chan. She finds Fumi-chan's bed empty, but her surprise is contained by Kaname, who shows up to say that Fumi-chan was temporarily transferred to another hospital.
Through Chiaki, Natsuka, and Kaname's scheming, Fumi-chan winds up at Natsuka's house. She experiences a plethora of social activities for the first time, such as eating sukiyaki and playing the Wii. (Do want.)
During this time, Chiaki avails upon a woman named Lisala. The latter is apparently some sort of historian for the Fukuinkyoku.
More 'Let's help Fumi-chan regain her memories' time, with Kaname recalling the first time he met Fumi-chan. She'd been cornered by a dog, but by the time Kaname rushed to help her, she'd frightened it off. Based on Kaname's flashback, it was 'Fumi-chan's' boyish, triumphant look that caused him to be smitten. (Although it's highly probable that the personality Kaname saw was Mika.)
Ever determined, Mika finishes her Shigofumi delivery, and proceeds to look up the temporary hospital that Fumi-chan is staying in. Kanaka tries to convince Mika otherwise, but fails. (Unsurprisingly, Mika's been planning this for 3 years.)
After Natsuka leaves to escort Kaname to the bus stop, Fumi-chan stumbles upon one of her father's books.
Fumi-chan's hit with a flood of memories, drops the book, and we don't know. (But we will soon.) As Kaname and Natsuka walk, Kanaka races around the corner, having lost track of Mika. (GOOD JOB.) Worried that Fumi and Mika may meet, the three race back to Natsuka's house. The door's wide open and… well, no Fumi-chan anywhere.
A crying Fumi-chan runs along the streets, saying, 'I killed my father.' She calls out for Mika, and racing up the steps of a shrine, she finds exactly who she was looking for. Fumi-chan embraces Mika, saying, 'It's all my fault.' Mika corrects her, telling Fumi-chan that she didn't shoot her father, Mika did. As Mika-planned, she hands Fumi-chan the pistol, telling Fumi-chan to shoot her.
The night rings with a gunshot, just as Natsuka runs up the shrine stairs. Seeing Fumi-chan, she asks if the former has seen anyone else. Fumi-chan replies no, but is clutching the gun behind her back.
Sitting down with Noj-san, Fumi-chan says that she wants to accuse Mikawa Kirameki. She also proceeds to say, 'This time, I'm going to shoot.'
Ending of the episode shows some woman, who (In all likelihood) is Fumika's mother.
Thoughts:
Lot of brain boggling going on here, especially at the end. No idea if Fumi actually shot Mika. No idea who's in control now - Fumi, Mika, or Fumika? Her conversation with Noj-san indicates that it's likely Fumi-chan with Mika's memories, since she said she would do the shooting this time. Who knows, maybe both personalities did fuse. Or maybe they didn't. I… think I'll stop here. I neglected to sleep again, the new layout I applied 2 days ago was NOT cut out for 1024×768 resolution nor Internet Explorer. So I had to fix it. I hate Internet Explorer. Please don't use it.
