As Rahzel, Alzeid, Hi-tan, and Solesta sit at a table together; Rahzel and Solesta engage in pointless bickering, and are told to stop being so childish by Alzeid. During this time, it is revealed that 'Vin' is actually Vincent, the bastard child of some King Obpley and a servant. He'd normally be ignored, but all other successors mysteriously perished, and Vincent was recognized as the new heir.
That night, some bandits set a fire to the inn to lure out Vin. Solesta and Hi-tan take care of the bandits outside, and Alzeid the inside; but Alzeid has a little trouble because they keep getting back up.
Some bandits make it to the room Vin and Rahzel are in, but Solesta and Hi-tan show up in the nick of time. However, they proceed to abduct Vin and Rahzel, and are gone by the time Alzeid arrives. Seeing the thin lines disappear from the bandits' bodies, Alzeid recalls Solesta's ability - to control people's bodies. (So that's why they kept getting back up. =o)
Vin wakes up unharmed, and searches for Rahzel. He finds the door locked, but the window wide open…
Meanwhile, Solesta voices more of his increasingly apparent jealousy to a captive Rahzel. Rahzel's fiery tongue kicks into action, which earns her a slap from Solesta, who then storms out of the room. Hi-tan leaves shortly after, and Rahzel dislocates her left hand to free herself. As Solesta and Alzeid prepare to fight each other, no magic allowed (Alzeid has magic?); Rahzel finds that Vin tried to escape but was captured. Uh, somehow Rahzel convinces Hi-tan to rejoin her (Though I'm sure that was his intention all along…), and he turns on Solesta's henchies.
During Solesta's fight with Alzeid, he says how he lost everything when their country's conflicts were settled, when Alzeid and Hi-tan left the military. With this, his true intentions are revealed: he will kidnap Vin to cause a coup d'etat, so he can fight alongside Alzeid and Hi-tan just like old times. Alzeid crushes Solesta's hopes, saying he's not interested in fighting, and easily defeats the latter. Just as Alzeid is about to execute Solesta, however, Rahzel shows up to save the day.
Ignoring Solesta, however, Rahzel, Alzeid, Hi-tan, and Vin walk away arm-in-arm. Solesta, watching everything he fought for disappearing, lunges at Rahzel with his sword. Acting quickly, Alzeid gathers up his magic (Wut) and blows a hole through Solesta, shattering the latter into shards of crystal*. (*Actually it's probably just shattered glass.)

Thoughts:
Second to last episode …and it turns out the mysterious employer was actually Rahzel's father. Whaddayaknow. Hi-tan was probably sent by Rahzel's father to look after her all along, I think. Anyway, looks like Rahzel's journey will come to an end …or will it?

@ Makoto: Episode 10 is not out yet, is it? I noticed that she changes her clothes as well, rather interesting twist. Also her eyes are awesome! ^^ The series overall, however, has more holes than I care to mention, but I just went along with it since it wasn’t too long. ;p
