A healthy soul requires a healthy mind, which requires a healthy body…

The Academy of Shinigami Weapons Wielders, Shibusen…

The Kishin…beings nearly almost destroyed everything…are kept in check by Shibusen…

If it weren't for the new kids on the block, Jack would've had his women.

Ah well, at least Maka got her ego boost and Soul got his meal, can't function on an empty ego or stomach eh?
Now that they've collected 99 pre-Kishin souls, it's time to get the final soul, that of a witch.

Reporting in to Shinigami-sama, the topic at hand quickly degrades…

Maka's father threatens Soul with fatherly words, but Soul comes back with the words of a cooru no otoko.

Taking this as a mortal wound, Maka's father takes the high road…which, unfortunately, leads him nowhere.

Annnnnyways, that aside, Shinigami-sama reconfirms the final soul that needs to be collected, and we're off to where the Blair Witch lives.

Blair is…comfortably taking a bath, using perverted brushes to brush herself up…oh gawd I'm so ronery ;_;

Since sneaking around isn't manly, Soul decides to jump and break through the window, meeting Blair face to face.

More like face to nice rack.

He survives the nosebleed, but only to take a kick to the face from Maka…ahh joy.
Once that's over, the fight starts…

Taking it to the city streets, Maka gets into more marital arguments with Soul. Blair interjecting with her offers of sex and blowjobs forgiveness doesn't help the situation either.

Obviously when two females butt heads, it ain't gonna be pretty…

After some more fighting, Soul drops Maka into a dumpster and heads over to Blair's side.

Of course, this does cause a slight bit of pain for Maka.

After her yelling and confessions, Soul, being the badass that he is, reveals the plan.

He eats the final soul…except…

Yeah…Blair is actually a neko with HOLYSHITMOTHERFUCKERSTRONGASFUCK magic…>_>
This means…essentially, that Maka and Soul failed and have to start over…ahh good times.

And in the meantime, we get introduced to our next character, Black Star…
Impressions:
Following the manga nicely so far, ecchi good, combat good, animation good, I'm definitely sticking around for the entire season. I just hope it won't start to feel as long and drawn out as Eureka 7 was…

Well, we’ll see how good they get it. It’s working out fine as of right now. Nexts up, blackstar wackiness!
