The looks keep on coming.

Miharu is staring out the window while Kouichi and Kumohira are training. Kumohira wants him to join in as to help control his powers, but they get attack by a unfamiliar face. We find out that it is a student Kumohira taught a while back in his other school. Shimizu Raimei, a samurai from the Fuma Clan. She has a problem though by mistaking others for someone else. Anyways, she come to the school to test the one holding the Hijustu being Miharu. She can't believe it's someone like him. He's look weak and skinny. She wants to challenge him, but he walks off. She tells him she wants to see if he's trustworthy as the ruler of Nabari. He shrugs his shoulders answering okay. She is shocked at how weak his answer is. She continues to monitor him during a basketball game thinking he'll out witted his enemies, but he's just uses his crazy ways to win. She is shocked. She tries to get him in class by throwing pencils at his desk, but to no effort does he dodge them. She can't believe it. Does he even care about his own life. In the lunchroom, she loses Kumohira mistaking him for someone else. As he gets her attention, she asked why he is like that. He tells her not to worry, he'll never sell the Hijutsu to anyone. She looks at him eating and wonders if he has any ambition for himself. After school, she follows him only to lose him again. She goes searching. Miharu meanwhile, is reading a ninja arts book and sitting on a bench. He then notices a baby chick outta of his nest and returns it back home on a cliff.  Raimei sees this and realizes that he does care about other things as well. But she ends up saving him from falling over. She can't believe how easily he throws his life away. But he probably is lonely. She then grabs his arm and tells him there gonna go to Fuma Village. Later on in the school, she tells everyone about it. Kumohira is having doubts as he pulls on Miharu's arm. She tells him she wants him to go see Kotarou Fuma. They both go back and forth until he gives in. But he wants an escort to be with them. It ends up being him.

After getting dragged into the trip. Kumohira and all wait on Miharu. When he shows up, he is dressed in only what a mother could love. Kouichi and Raimei freak out and end up changing him quick. Good thing Kouichi has some extra clothes. As there about to depart, there missing Kumohira. Then is when you hear the fear he has of riding in motor vehicles. It drives him nuts. They try to drag him on with no effort, but Miharu uses his dirty tricks to do the work. He faints as they ride on the train. While there on the train, Raimei explains to them who Kotarou is and this time of the year they have a gathering. He even wrote the book Miharu is reading. She says she only met him once but her parents know him well. While talking, it's starts to rain. Kumohira is shown having a dream. He seems to have them always during rain storms. It's the past of the same incident years ago. He can't seem to forget it. He wakes up to find out they must get on another vehicle and passes out again. They talk about where he is from. He is from Ireland. They wouldn't really guess that and wonder how he got there in the first place with his fear. After getting off the bus, they finally get to the forest of where the village lies. Only Fuma villagers know the entrance so they follow Raimei only to notice something is wrong. Just then, some of her people fall to the ground. It seems someone is attacking the village.

Summary:

Seem like more trouble is headed for our smirking friend. It's starting to get interesting now. Knowing that this one was more of character depth then action. We should be getting alot of that though from now on.
