Rito wakes up to find Lala sleeping in bed with him. To make it worse, no clothes. Rito falls over. Lala says she can't wear Peke forever. After getting a crazy reaction from his sister, he ask why is she in his bed. She says there engaged after all it's normal. He kind of doesn't agree but she gives him the face and he falls. Peke ask why is it so different from what you were saying earlier. He tries to explain he didn't agree to this engagement in the first place when Zastin appears. He says you won through official procedures by grabbing Lala's chest. She accepted your confession thus, making you engaged to her. He tries to say it was a mistake, but touching a Deviluke chest without love is like declaring war with them. If her father found out it was a lie, he destroy the Earth. So he's pretty much stuck. Rito falls in despair. Lala grabs him and tells him it'll be okay. She'll take care of him. His sister then tells him to get his butt to school. At school, Rito tries to think of what to do. While his friend ask him if he confessed, Haruna walks by. She looks the other way. In class, he tires to figure out how to confess to her still. But he wonders why she is avoiding him. He goes for it at a break but misses his chance as she goes into the locker room. Meanwhile, Lala has come to the school looking for him. All the boys are loving her. She then finds Rito. They asked who is she to him. She tells them that he's her finance. They all get ticked off. Even his friend is upset. They start to chase him. Going on somewhere else, Haruna is changing and thinking of who those words were directed at by Rito. She wonders who the girl is to. Running out of room, Rito ask Lala to get them outta there. She uses Warp Warp Pyon. They end up falling into the girl's locker room right next to Haruna. They fall out together butt naked and all seeing that clothes don't wrap with it only living things. Haruna sees this and Rito tries to explain. But gets a slap to the face.
Back at home, Zastin has decided to meet the family. Sister is very happy and accepts the engagement. She tells Lala to take care of her of stupid brother. Lala hugs her happily thinking she's cute. Rito notices how everything is going without his consent. He must do something are forever be without Haurna. He pulls over Zastin to the side and ask him a "what if" question of cancelling the engagement. He tells him he have to do it the way he started it. By grabbing Lala's chest again by tomorrow night during the cooling off period. Later that evening, he's tries to go for it a couple of times, but to no avail. That night,the sister tells Lala to sleep with her since she suspects her brother is up to something. Lala wanted to sleep with him, but goes with sister. Rito goes to sleep knowing he has until tomorrow to get her. He wakes up the next morning to find Lala in his bed again. He sees his chance. He goes for it. But after thinking he got her and canceled it, it was Peke he grabbed instead. During the day, he tries again and again but gets no results. So, he has one hour left until the cooling point is over. He calls Lala out to talk. He gets ready to tell her the truth when she says she's happy. She has always gotten push into everything she's done. No one ever listened to her. But Rito was different. He believed her, protected her and trusted her know matter what was going on. So she's happy. After that, he tries to say it but runs outta time. The next morning he gets greeted with the official engagement greeting from Zastin's men. He still can't believe it happened. At school, he's still wants to try to talk to Haruna. But he's happy he can without Lala being in the way. He was wrong as she became the newest member of the class.
Summary:
Wow, to get engaged like that. Man's dream huh? Seeing how this one is turning out, I'm happy. I'm hoping they skip too much on the manga.(From what I heard so far..) I haven't read it myself, but I'll probably start it a few later episodes into the series. I feel sorry for Haruna. She had her man stolen from her! Get him back girl!

Yes they’ve skipped a lot, but who cares, really. Adaptations like these were doom to fail anyway, since their sole purpose is to milk fans with the DVDs later. Hur.
