Just kidding. This post is not about viruses, trojans, and worms; nor is it about PC security. As many are quite aware, MAL is the indubitably creative acronym for My Anime List, better known as My Anime E-peen.
Scientific studies show that the more extensive one's MAL is, the larger their e-phallus is, and the less of a life they have. Just kidding! I thought I would poke some fun at MAL just for the heck of it. xD
I've had a MAL for a short while now, but I haven't really done much streamlining to it. I'll get to that after I finish this post. Why now? Well, recently there's been a bit of a hubbub with anime bloggers making their MAL known, so I thought I'd follow suit. In before hivemind.
A few other things… someone give me a convincing reason to upgrade to Wordpress 2.5.1. The dashboard's been complaining at me for a while now, but I really don't want to do it.
Also, the Anime Blog Award nominations have been finalized, and it's onto voting. It's currently only blogger voting, but when people voting becomes available be sure to go vote for your favorite blog!
Q: "But Nagato, Are-are isn't even on any of the categories. Why would you promote this?"
A: Because I'm that altruistic.

Security-wise, this.
Otherwise, bug fixes. If you wish to patch up the security, just go here and follow the directions there.
Still, 2.5.1 causes some other problems as well, some that were left unfixed in 2.5.1. Oh well, it’s not like any software will be bug-free.

Yeah, I haven’t gotten around to updating my own blog’s wordpress installation, but you should always do it sooner rather than later if you can, because they usually fix important security issues.

I’m not fond of any social networking sites, so I’ve abstained from joining MAL, as I had with Friendster, MySpace, and whatnot. :)

MyAnimeList or “Social” AniDB is alright, I can’t see why change if I already have a ton of stuff in AniDB. I mean its like episode episode click click … click, fansub group click, episode.
Someone could have built a site using AniDB’s API and it would have been seamless. Even if someone did that now it would be worth it considering the AniDB user-base is huge, and it actually supports more features, just they don’t get any attention.
Just an opinion, I have respect for both sites. For me, these “list” sites take too much effort. ^^

I like having an anime list but that’s it. I don’t want to pick out favorite characters, voice actors, or participate in forums. MAL is nice but I’d rather just make my own.

I impress with the way it show a couple trying to work through a very serious problem in their relationship. The fighting part is fantastic
