Lelouch is caught at a crossroads, he can't let Suzaku know he's regained his memories; but he doesn't want to lie to Nunnally. Rolo solves this little problem, freezing Suzaku long enough for Lelouch to say, 'I love you' to Nunnally. Aw, sweet siscon.
Speaking of Nunnally, she's currently being transported under the guard of General Apsom - a protocol commander who is concerned only with his accomplishments and promotions within the Empire. Guilford is also there, but his help is turned down by Apsom who wants to grab all the glory for himself. Lloyd shows up, as flamboyant as ever, to give Guilford a new Knightmare.
Somewhere in China, Kaguya meets with a girl we can only assume to be TianZi. The empress of China is a lonely child, who doesn't want Kaguya to leave because she's the first friend she's made.
Having completely taken over the observation room previously used to corral him in, Lelouch ponders what to do about Nunnally. Talking with C.C. through monitor, he finds out that V.V. works closely with daddy Charles due to a contract, much like Lelouch and C.C.'s. (Minus the kissing, I assume.)
At the Chinese embassy, Li regretfully informs the three Rounds of the Order of Black Knights' escape. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what's happened.
Switching scenes, the convoy transporting Nunnally comes under attack by Zero's forces. Britannia's planes appear to have the initial advantage over the Order's Knightmares, but Lelouch plans for Apsom's stupidity, and blows up most of their forces in one blow. With the Black Knights' Knightmares landed on all the convoy craft, Lelouch goes inside the command plane and makes his way towards Nunnally.
Apsom momentarily regrets his refusal of Guilford's help, but when Guilford does arrive with help, he quickly becomes jealous again.
The Black Knights quickly lose the upper hand, though Lelouch is unaware because he is inside the plane and has met Nunnally. It's clear she doesn't know that he is/was Zero. Contrary to Lelouch's beliefs, Nunnally willingly chose to become Governor-General, intending to take up Euphemia's torch and reinstate the Specially Administrated Zone of Japan. Lelouch lets a bunch of ceramic fall to the floor.
Suzaku's finally arrived to further tilt the already lopsided battle in his brand new Lancelot CONQUISTA. He wastes no time in destroying Kallen's radiation surge, the subsequent explosion causing her to topple off the plane. Her ejection seat malfunctions, and the end for the Black Knights' elite pilot seems near. (Yeah, right.)
When all seems lost; Lakshata, Kaguya, and crew show up in a brand new TDD-1 Tuatha De Dannan. The submarine hatches open up to reveal a… Knightmare part, which is launched and subsequently connects to Guren Mk. II. Code Geass now goes into SEED DESTINY mode, and in Force Impuse fashion, replaces Guren's damaged radiation surge with a brand new one. Kallen's now 200% good to go, with the ability to fly and Marisa's Master Spark.

Guilford gets blown away, as Kallen begins fighting on even grounds with the Rounds, surprising even Gino.
Suzaku rushes to save Nunnally, giving Lelouch a heart-wrenching moment as his dear sister reaches for his best friend/worst enemy instead of him. As Suzaku carts Nunnally off yet again, Lelouch is blown out of the craft into the waiting arms of Guren Mk. II.

Thoughts:
Code Geass never fails to entertain, that much is for sure. I almost fell out of my chair laughing with Guren's interchangeable parts. Force Impulse sported such a feature in the beginning of Gundam Seed Destiny, but it was quickly dropped because the writers realized how undeniably lame it was. It was pretty annoying to have to watch the parts assemble everytime Shinn Asuka had to go fight, too. We're here to watch anime, not learn how to play with Legos.
Even more lulzy for the Guren is Lakshata's new flyer, as well as new improved radiation surge. Really, kamehameha? Also, pierce the heavens with your radiation surge. Too funny.
Nunnally's presence is going to be a real killer for Lelouch's fighting spirit, especially after being shoved aside for Suzaku. Granted, she didn't know it was him, but still. Next episode, Lulu goes emo. I'm not kidding.
Casualties this episode:
Ryoga Senba
General Apsom
Some Black Knights members.
Good number of Britannian troops.
Sorry for the delay everyone. Pretty much everyone already has a Geass 6 entry out and I'm really late here. I'm not even going to try to top anybody else's. I hope you find it nominally entertaining at least, though.

Seriously I did not care about this post of yours lol. But your Daily Picture of Orange-kun tending to his oranges is AWESOME. Simply awesome… I am gonna keep coming back for more Daily Pictures! :3

Re-hashing is right, generally speaking, but considering that I haven’t even seen SEED DESTINY and still recognize that fact, it should tell you that such upgrade sequences have a much longer history.
In other words, DESTINY’s not the first -nor the last- place where that has come up. Maybe that’s just the first thing that came to your mind. Tons of super robot shows, and even earlier Gundams, had similar situations.
Same thing goes for the alleged TTGL pose, which is actually not that similar to Simon’s finger pointing. Or the sub, which showed up in season one as well. Has FMP copyrighted the whole submarine concept? Don’t think so.
Finally, I don’t think we’ll see that sequence again, since it was specifically to install the upgrades and save the situation, as deus ex machina as it may be. That should be, in other words, pretty much the default mode from now on. The parts may be interchangeable for the purposes of upgrading, technically, but I don’t see that happening too often in such a super-robotic fashion.

Rule 34 has already produced art of Suzaku x Nunally. Can’t unsee.

Haha, at first I thought Kallen’s new Guren kinda looked lame as well!

@ Setsuna-san: Glad you liked it :D
@ Sojourner: That makes me sad q_q Did you at least read it? >_>
@ Madonis: Well of course, I realize that the similarities I pointed out may not actually be so similar, or that great of an example. This was actually one of the issues I hit when writing this post. If you see the link on the word ‘kamehameha’, there’s plenty of attacks that have someone expelling a large continuous stream of destructive energy. Anyway, the point was to point out why I found it rather amusing.
@ Shin: Do not want D:
@ blissmo: Did you mean ‘Gurren’? (Get it? Ha, ha. xP)

ID Sojourner did not. I did.
And the Guren scene reminds me more of He-Man, Master of the Universe.

Got deja vu watching Guren aerial scene. Definitely was thinking about Impulse G. Oh well, good for the laugh ^^. And here’s something bothering me for awhile, did they get a new sub or re-used the old one?

Lol, shark plane mode, nice. And WTF @ your banner, in a hilarious way.
May 18th, 2008 at 12:38 pm
@ Sojourner: I’ve never watched that.
@ lanie: New sub? ?_?
@ Lelangir: Which banner? I have several, and they rotate. :p
