The Moon Dorms are in an uproar over the impending visit of Takuma's grandfather, Ichijou Asatoo. Takuma seems scared shitless of his grandfather (at least in the manga he was), who is not only owns a large corporation in the human world but is also on the vampire senate. When Ichiou (Asatoo's nickname) arrives, Kaname greets him personally. However, when Ichiou makes an off-hand remark about partaking Kaname's blood, he is immediately faced with Ruka and Aidou. That night Ruka tries to offer Kaname her blood, though he refuses. Ruka goes crying to Kain, confused why Kaname drank her blood that one night and has shown complete disinterest since.
Ichiou takes his leave for the night, but not before telling Takuma that he needs to watch over Kaname, and that's the only reason Takuma is being allowed to stay at Cross Academy. Takuma steadfastly says that he will not betray his friends. Ichiou says that the peace at Cross Academy is fake, but he is interjected by Yuki, who appears with Zero to escort Ichiou to the Chairman's room. Before leaving Yuki thanks Kaname for yesterday.
Later, Yuki walks in on Zero in the restroom. She tells him that she's never though of giving blood to Kaname, that giving it to him is her responsibility and that he should be prepared for it. Zero suddenly pins Yuki against the wall, making like he'll feed but doesn't, telling Yuki that she's the one who isn't ready. This pisses her off and she storms out of the room. With Yuki gone, Chairman Cross appears to give Zero an assignment from the Hunter's Association. The next day, seeing Zero walk off on his own, Yuki becomes curious and follows him. He goes into town, entering a run-down building. Shiki and Rima arrive at the same place shortly after, and they've also been tasked to hunt the same Level-E vampire.
Zero confronts the vampire, who has apparently killed four teenage girls so far, and is on his fifth. Forgetting about 'shoot first ask questions later', Zero lets the vampire slip away. Yuki, who has grouped up with Shiki and Rima, find the vampire. Shiki fails to kill the vampire, so Yuki gives chase. Running through the building, Yuki is suddenly attacked by the vampire from below. She's saved by Zero, who shows up and kills the vampire.
Unbeknownst to all, someone is watching from afar. Judging by the voice, it's a young girl. Her bodyguard is a masked man who looks kind of like Zero. (lolspoilers, kindof)
Thoughts:
Oh WOW they're really speeding through that manga, almost half the chapters that are out so far.
In the manga, Ichijou Takuma was much more afraid of his grandfather, and he didn't stand up to the man so easily. So much for side character development, eh? They actually spent some good time highlighting Ruka's difficulties, though.
Anyway I predict the subject of next episode will be the people mentioned at the end of this episode. Well anyway the girl is the [deleted spoiler] who [deleted spoiler], and her bodyguard is [deleted spoiler]. (Don't you even dare, Webb.)

WHAT?!?!?!?!? I didn’t say anything…^_^ I’m just giving my review. As far as I know, Zero has seem to become the main character in the story now. Why is this? I thought it was all about Yuki! It’s like she’s been thrown aside.
