Now this is real rock-climbing.
Impressions:
A solid second episode that concludes the human mummification/combustion case. The real culprit turned out to be Tsutsumi-sensei, who was being supported by the Tsukuyomi party to create the Ochimizu in order to achieve eternal life. Ryoko showcased her deductive skills by essentially figuring everything out since early on. Another great characteristic of her character is that she's very calm even under extremely pressured situations, like when the giant snake was going berserk or at the end of the ep when the building was collapsing and she had to jump and hope that Izumida catches her. Looking forward to seeing what the next case will bring us.

Well, that was a nice way to end the episode. I’m just as surprised as you for how Ryoko was so calm in this worst case scenario situation. This one really is gonna show us some good cases I see. Still, getting eaten by a snake is not on my to-do list.

More people need to watch this show. You don’t see many plots that mix eternal life with GIANT SNAKES.
