Mika is a narcissist
I-Incredible, to decanter from such a height…!
As a result of the publicity with her father, Fumika is regularly bullied at school. However, one day a girl named Suzune shows Fumika an act of kindness by bandaging her finger.
Meanwhile, around the school there have been several cases of ‘curses’ and shigofumis being delivered. Rumors say that the shigofumis are from Kikukawa, the boy who committed suicide due to bullying in episode 6.
Kaname and Natsuka decide to investigate, and inadvertently meet up with Fumika. All three visit Morishita, and he tells them that Kikukawa has a sister named Shinozaki Suzune. (Hmm…)
Flashback shows that Suzune and Kikukawa were related by the same mother but not father. As a result, their parents divorced and they were seperated. Suzune is the one making the curses and shigofumis.
Suddenly, a Matoma!
Well, it’s good to say that the bullies are quite rattled by the shigofumis that they’re receiving. Suzune intends to exact revenge on them, but Fumika, Kaname, and Natsuka have other plans. That night they enlist the help of Matoma and Chiaki’s clothes. Kaname and Natsuka use Matoma to scare the bullies. Meanwhile Fumika dresses up in Chiaki’s clothes and gives Suzune a fake shigofumi.
However, Mika interrupts them and reveals Fumika. Fumika explains that she did this because malice begets malice, and she did not want Suzune to experience that.
A happy ending, Fumika now has a friend in her grade, Suzune. Additionally, Haruna (Natsuka’s sister) wants Fumika to come stay with them.
Thoughts:
An enjoyable episode, since I did feel that the end of episode 12 was a bit rushed and didn’t really provide closure for Fumika, although it did for Mika. This episode gives some needed closure for Fumika, having found her own way and gained a new friend.
On that note, I may have mentioned before but that school really has some issues. The kids are mean, too. I’m so glad I never went there. @_@
Have some drunk Chiaki for closure:

@ WebbMaster62: A second season might mar the quality of the first season though.
@ Larein: I know, right?
