Personally, I couldn’t a better picture than this anymore.

Finally, Clannad: After Story ends the series on episode 22. This kinda suprised me, considering I was expecting 24 episodes. But I think it’s better this way, ending the series at this time, rather than wasting time and money on an emo Tomoya.

Apparently, there are some people voting for Kyou, which did not surprise me at all. Kyou would make a great partner nontheless. As for me, Kotomi is mine and Nagisa I think, should be for Tomoya. I can’t argue to the fact that they would make a great couple.

So yeah, I’ll put in some spoilers. For you guys who want to see the spoilers (which you could see almost everywhere else), read the rest of this mini-post.

SPOILER:

After the girl faded in the illusory world (I’m not gonna elaborate it here), a miracle happened, granting Tomoya’s wish of starting over again. He goes back to the time when he first saw Nagisa. At first he didn’t want to call out to her in fear of the bad things recurring. But he still called out to her, and she’s glad to have met him. She doesn’t want him to regret meeting her, whatever the outcome would be.

The next thing Tomoya knew, a lot of time had already passed and he’s on Nagisa’s bedside with Ushio being born. Nagisa lives. And they become wonderful family. It’s like what happened in the past few episodes: Tomoya taking care of Ushio, bringing her to school, and going out on a trip with her– only difference is that Nagisa’s in the picture, and it’s really wonderful.

I’m shedding manly tears out for extreme joy. Kudos to KyoAni for doing this after all, I’m surprised of the outcome.
