I wish for a meido. Things would be more convenient
Yep. Filler post. I’ve no plans on posting until the final episode of K-On! wherein I will also put down my series review, then after that, a review of the songs featured in the show. Wouldn’t that be cool? No.
I’ve busied myself with the most trivial of stuff to do– which in this case is Spring Cleaning. Yes, “Spring Cleaning”. Good thing this “event” is only triggered once a year, which gives me the relief that there’s no such thing as Summer Cleaning, Winter Cleaning, or Autumn Cleaning. Is there? I hope not.
It’s totally not in my character to do things without being told to do so. I don’t review for tests, even if told so, but that doesn’t count because I still pass with simple raw intelligence; people would give up anything just to get a hold of my intellectual prowess, but then they cringe at the sight me slacking my ass off the whole term, while still trying to keep my scholarship going.
This time something more cringing than grades bothered me. I could plainly say “My room is dirty.” but when I looked around, it’s “Holy mother of —!!!”
It seems I haven’t cleaned for half a year(?), or 2 years(?).
The ceiling is disgustingly covered with what I recognize as cobwebs (which somehow became a getaway for creatures I don’t even want to imagine), the bed needs new sheets as well as the pillows (but I change those once a week), and pretty much everywhere else is bleh. Maybe I didn’t notice it since I normally keep the lights in my room off 90% of the time. The filth that took refuge in my room did hide in the darkness the whole while, as well as these guys:
Mind you, this is not what I imagined a ‘dust bunny’ would look like.
Rakuen: *woman scream* KYAAAAAHHH!!!!
And lately I’ve been having these frequent allergies, which started to bother me a bit late. So, that’s right, I knew what I had to do:
“I’ll sleep first then clean when I wake up.”
So then I slept then woke up the next day. Surprisingly, my will was still intact. I started from top to bottom, because if I did the ceiling last, the dust will fall onto the whole place and I’ll have to redo the cleaning.
Oh, by the way, while all that was happening. I was also watching End of Evangelion at the same time, which made the whole job 50% longer to do.
I started at around 8 in the morning and luckily finished just in time for lunch. That’s a total of 4 and a half hours, because I also had to do some reorganizing with my manga collection, and I had to put out things from the room. This is retribution I get for procrastinating with cleaning my room.
So to sum up things, these are what I learned so far:
1. Dust. SCARY.
2. Roaches that suddenly pop out for no reason. SCARY and SURPRISING.
3. I still can’t see dust mites with normal vision.
4. I realized I was more like Taiga back when she doesn’t clean her condo.
5. Saber-chan in her meido dress. DELICIOUS!
P.S. I might just do a post about fetishes. I just might do so.
