A Yellow Salute

In behalf of Rakuen and the crew of Are-Are.net, we put down our hats and give a solid salute to the Saint of the People Power in the Philippines, Cory Aquino.
Just last week, the former president has passed away due to her cancer, and today (August 5, 2009), she’s being put to rest along side the tomb of her late husband Benigno Aquino Jr. Both have fought for the freedom in the Philippines against the tyranny of a dictator. And now the country is experiencing great grief because of the sudden issue.
Again, in behalf of the Are-Are staff, “Thank you and goodbye, Aunty Cory”.

@ajnac: Sorry man, I can’t. I have tests today and my classes are up to 3 in the afternoon, so my sched’s pretty full. No Comic Con for me.
Though, my plans on going to Cosmania is already sure. If you go there, I’d be glad to meet you guys. And yes, I’m from Caloocan too.
