Back at the lab, Mutou begins chowing down on food.

Professor Itsuki asks Mutou what took her so long. Mutou responds that while travelling around the world with Haruka (Hasegawa), Haruka left her and told her to return via land. Professor Itsuki is very interested in her sack, and asks Kei to help him inventory it. Mutou finishes eating and goes to take a shower and change. Sawaki sees some suspicious microbes where Mutou was eating. Professor Itsuki and Kei are inventorying the fermented products in Mutou's bag, and Kei apparently has some plans that require him to take a break from the university.
Back in the lab, Hasegawa dons a biochemical suit and says that Asia's top 5 food poisoning microbes are present.

When Mutou returns, they all surround her and spray her with disinfectant. Afterwards Oikawa, Misato, and Takuma are looking at the microbe maze from the previous episode.

Oooh.
Later, Sawaki gives Mutou a ride to the club building. She invites him to come with her, and as they enter Sawaki sees an uncanny amount of microbes. They're emanating from her club - the UFO club's room. (UFO club? Wtf?) When they enter, 2 out of the 4 members are sick. Sawaki then remembers the microbe as influenza. The club members were doing something with chickens and pigs, and had kept them inside the room with them.

Mutou berates them for doing this, as it is a prime environment for creating a new strain of influenza. They call the disinfection team, which rushes in and sprays everything. As they are standing outside watching the disinfection, Hasegawa informs Sawaki that the mask he is using is ineffective against influenza.

I'd throw that thing on the ground immediately.
Afterwards Sawaki, Mutou, Oikawa, Misato, and Takuma all go to a bar to celebrate Mutou's return. Hasegawa did not come along because she 'Cannot drink alcohol'. (Ha, ha …bs) At the bar, Sawaki asks Misato why she is in the UFO club. Mutou's friend, who works at the bar, tells him that her boyfriend left her and that she became convinced that a UFO took him. Mutou proceeds to down the memories with alcohol.

Meanwhile, Professor Itsuki invites Kei to his 'secret place' in order to allow him to return to school instead of taking a break.
As Sawaki's group returns to the university, he wonders why Kei is unreachable by phone.
