Well, I’ve found the need to disclose how to pick a Comvatar on several an occasion, and I’m sure there are others who have not asked and would like to know as well. Usually when someone asked me I’d go digging for that post I made 6 months ago, but that’s a hassle. So here we are.
First of all, what is a ‘Comvatar’? Well, it’s the randomly selected avatar that is assigned to you whenever you make a comment. The avatar is chosen from a pool of avatars. If you want to have Comvatars on your site, here is a download link:

You may wonder why I use Comvatars, when there is the Gravatar network/service which allows users to select their own avatar and can be applied to just about any Wordpress blog. Well, for one, a lot of people (especially one-time commenters) would most definitely not have a Gravatar assigned to their e-mail address. Or, a person who has a Gravatar could be a bumbler and input their e-mail wrong. In any case, Comvatars still allows a little bit of customization while providing everyone with a nice animated avatar.
If, in the case you dislike the Comvatar pool selection, you may always e-mail me with your so desired (100px by 100px) avatar, and I will be glad to assign it to you. (Note that you will still be required to confirm the Comvatar selection via e-mail, explained later.)
Without further ado…
How to choose your own Comvatar:
Most avatars are courtesy of Pellissier, Ice Climbers, and Hakuryu from AnimeSuki Forums.
If there’s a custom avatar you wish to add, please contact me using my e-mail address on the Contact page. 100pixels by 100pixels only, plzkthx.
Things to note:

Well, I suppose that’s enough explanation for now. Have fun! (:
