Is this the answer to thousands of Haruhists’ prayers?  As with Newtype’s announcement of its announcement, there have been a lot of scepticism. Is this another clever ploy to keep the Haruhi Marketing busy? Or is this the real deal?

Now, about Newtype’s announcement, as voice by the goddess herself, Aya Hirano, it was said that “the second season of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu is now underway and will be airing starting Spring (April to June) this year. More details will be unveiled on this February edition of Newtype, to be released on the 10th.

It really shocked me like hell, I thought they were just joking. Well, since it’s Newtype, I would not have much doubts. But I won’t keep my hopes up just to make sure. I fear Haruhi will break my heart, just like how Nagato-sama did it.

On a non-related note, Rakuen visited the set of Toradora after episode 16 to interview Taiga and the gang, so wait for that.
