As Youhei entertains Chi with some string, his parents finally find someone to take Chi.

The lady is one of Youhei's mother's friends. She's definitely taken by Chi's cuteness, even though it was her husband who wanted a cat in the first place.

However, she says she needs to discuss with her husband first, and leaves. Youhei, who's overheard what's happening, is sad. Chi meanwhile, has no idea what's going on.
