What:

Are-are was started in mid-December 2007 as a ploy to gain internet fame byproduct of boredom, as well as a way to precipitate 'correct' interpretations of the anime we all enjoy.
Are-are is a team blog because all of us can accomplish what none of us can. (We're recruiting! Scroll down to find out more!)

Naming schema: (Are-are was the final decision.)
 - Meron-pan/Kare-pan
 - Anime Seiko
 - Are-are/Ara-ara
 - A plethora of names including the noun 'otaku'.

Purpose:

The main purpose of this blog is to articulate any thoughts or questions that we may come across while watching anime. Hopefully, the result will be a symbiotic forum between the bloggers and readers, in which both sides can come to a better understanding of what they watch. (Practically anything anime-related will also be game, though.)

Let us know! Send an e-mail to one of the addresses listed on the Contact page, and a little bit of info about yourself. We're pretty darn desperate, so rest assured screening will be pretty lax. xD
The only real rules are:
1.) You need to screencap.
2.) You need to see an anime series to the end, unless it is so deplorable that you can't stand it.
3.) (Mostly) Proper English and grammar.
Hopefully we can see some new faces soon! :D
