Renjou and Kazuko are talking about Murasaki. Kazuko wonders if she'll ever return to the Inner Sanctuary. Renjou just says whatever happens, we'll happen. Kazuko walks off pissed at him. Meanwhile, Kurenai is waking up from a horrible nightmare from his past. He catches his breath as Murasaki notices. Cut to morning, Murasaki asks if he was having a nightmare just to bypass the question saying she was snoring. He asks her if she can stay home by herself. She says she's not a fool and tells him to hurry to school. Yayoi calls Benika and ask is it alright. Benika tells her he'll get use to it eventually as she has a customer.
Murasaki is watching tv when she sees a cat on the balcony. She calls Kurenai and ask for food. She wants to feed it. Before he can finish, she hangs up and tries to feed it. With no luck, she looks up at the sky. Murakami ask why was he late. He was preoccupied with his job. She lectures him about doing two things at once. As she lets him know about how big his job is with the Kuhouins, he gets a call again from Murasaki. She wants to eat lunch. He tells her where to find the food. Murakami is spying on him. She calls again, and ask if she can drink some juice with her meal. He says sure. Murakami asks who's he talking to. He says a very troublesome old man. Later, he tries to call her back to see if she's eaten yet, when Yuuno shows up. She wants him to eat better instead of just bread. He likes it though. As the day goes by, Murasaki wants to go to the toilet when she runs into Yamie at the door. She calls her suspicious and tries to close the door. She wholes it telling that won't be a good idea. She then lets it go after a talk, and falls back. She opens it and ask if she's alright. She says this is nothing. She tells her name. Murasaki then goes running to the toilet. Kurenai tries to call Murasaki but doesn't get an answer as she is talking to the others of the apartment. She meets Tamaki. Tamaki ask what is Kurenai to her? He's her servant. She sighs in excitement. As he hangs up, Yuuno notices his cellphone. She wants to give him her strap she just bought. He tells her it's alright, but she insist. She wonder why he's been so busy lately with his job. He lies telling her something different. She is happy that everything is fine. He doesn't want her to worry about him. Kurenai tries to call Murasaki back, but gets Yamie instead. She just plays mind tricks with him on the phone while he's trying to find out where she is. He hangs up and tries calling Tamaki, but she's cut off her phone. What luck.
As he rushes home, he finds Murasaki fine and trying to bathe herself in the sink. She wants to clean herself. He takes her to a public bath. As they walk in, the landlady says she's cute. He ask who she is. He tells her it's his cousin. She rushes into the bath. While doing her hair, Kurenai gets soap in her eyes and causes a scene. After the bath, Kurenai is called by Benika. She tells him she has a new job for him and has put some money into his account. He tells her he's still doing this one. But she says he can handle it. As they finish up with one job of there own, one of her guys asks if the boy is gonna do it. She says he can. Do you want to help him? He says no as he doesn't want to deal with the Kuhouins. Yayoi is outside like always. Later on, Murasaki is given a bottle of milk. He ask her if she paid for it. She says no as she was always given a bottle of milk at her own home. He tells her should always thank a person when there being nice to you. She doesn't get it. After a good talking to and a hit to the head, she figures it out and thanks the landlady. After buying a futon, the two are walking home. She tells him that she is thankful for being around him. She thought all things that hit were painful, but not with him. He tells her that he doesn't deserve such praise. Everyone has different faces to them. She says she does as well. When they get home, he tells her the futon he bought is hers. She thanks him. Later that night, Kurenai goes out for his job. As we see, him taking care of business in the pub, we see how dangerous of a job he truly has. As from what he says earlier, people truly do have many faces to them. Yayoi doesn't have to get involved this time. Cut to Renjou holding a picture of Benika and his lost love. He sighs in grief.
Summary:
Seems like it's getting bigger into the storyline already. Murasaki is a jewel as always. Her way of thinking is far beyond many people. Kurenai's past really is a horrible one. Looking at part of his flashback shows that. Everyone seems to have there secrets in this series. Which makes it even more interesting. I'm actually more interested in Yamie than some others. I'm hoping that the more problems we get, the better understanding we'll get from the episodes.
