Picking up from last episode, Lieutenant Love Letter, I mean Ker, easily catches up to Allison and Wil. After a brief exchange of words, their dogfight begins. Allison manages to outsmart Ker, however, pulling a mid-air stall, which forces Ker into Allison's sights. She then proceeds to pepper his plane with …purple paint. Realizing that he's been bested, Ker is quick to become turncoat, using his superior flying skills to take down four pursuing fighters. He then joins Allison and Wil, saying that her heard the story from Walter (LOF), and wants to help them find the treasure. Out of sight, the frog general and Kemo follow in a larger plane, keeping track of our heroes with RADAR.
Reaching the twin-top mountain, Allison and crew make their way through some vast limestone caves. Following the directions from Walter, they find the treasure - a prehistoric mural on the cave wall. The mural depicts two men, one holding a spear and the other a dagger. Wil and Ker immediately recognize these from their respective military insignias - Roxche's Spear of Theron and the dagger of Sou Beil. The group concludes that the two items were not really weapons at all, but made to hold the same fire. Wil realizes that Walter is none other than Lieutenant Colonel Walter McMillan. Ker says that Walter killed his men to protect the mural - they had wanted to destroy it. It is unanimously agreed that after 30 years, this mural could very well end the war.
Their reverie is interrupted by frog general and Kemo, though. Kemo is about to fire his rifle, but Wil is quicker to the draw and shoots Kemo's shoulder. Well, now the bad guys are mad, but as Kemo attempts to shoot again, his shoulder goes into spaz and he fires at the ceiling, causing it to collapse. The villains are buried under rocks, presumed dead.
In town, news has spread that the war may be ending. Allison and Wil visit Norma, and she recounts some memories of Walter. Very b'awww-worthy. After, Allison and Wil ride off (bike is fixed?), saying that summer vacation has ended.
Thoughts:
I'm thinking what everyone else is thinking right now: 'What, the arc is ended already?!' That was so short! I can't help but to feel a little disappointed, even if I do immensely enjoy this anime. The treasure ending the war seems like one of those rather dodgy things. (What if there was a political reason to continue the war, etc etc?) Seems like next episode will introduce a new character.

I told Valk I saw this coming. I had a feeling they were gonna end that arc pretty quick. But hey, maybe it’ll open up something else even bigger.

Yea, was taken by surprise that it was just an arc on finding the treasure, but I have faith in Allison and Li- I mean Wil that this show will remain entertaining! (Okay, once Lillia appears she’ll probably help as well)
