Happy Mother’s Day!
Although this may not be such a stellar example of a mother,
since a good number of readers may be attracted to her. >_>
Well, it's Sunday, May 11, which is when Mother's Day falls on the year of 2008! I was reminded by issa-sa, who mentioned it in a incredibly well-timed Toshokan post.
Mother's Day is a day where- wait, if you don't know what Mother's Day is… that would just be too sad. You'd also need to gtfo, srsly.
Anyway, go hug your mom, make her a card, buy her a gift. Thank your dear mommy for being there for you and raising you, for loving you, for caring for you. Even if she isn't your biological mother, she deserves recognition too. (Btw if your mother was a terribly abusive one or was in some way a terrible failure of a mother and you hate her, ignore what I just said.)
With that being said, I thought I'd make this post have some other meaning than just pointless holiday filler, so I'm going to (via text link) post one of the things I've drawn. This is inspired by the antics of blissmo, Baka-Raptor, and Astrobunny, as well as the artistic talent of Shance. Uh, the image was drawn by me last summer during a lull in part-time work.
Right anyway, here you go.
…I'm sooo going to regret this in a few hours.

Well, happy mother’s day to all. I’ll be attending a party for her myself and I’m probably gonna treat her to a massage salon later on. Funny, my birthday is on Tuesday afterwards….Go figure.

Not here in the UK, Mother’s Day was ages ago (can’t remember exactly when) I think my mum just bought something she wanted and gave me the receipt, that way everyon’s happy.
