Chi's Sweet Home 25
Chi's itching to scratch something, but she scratches up the Youhei family's 500$ sofa. Mother tells her not to, so Chi tries to find other things to scratch. Textbooks and glass don't cut it, but then Chi sees Father's expensive fashionable jeans. She immediately begins scratching at them, despite Father's efforts to shake her off. In the end, he lets her scratch his jeans, even though they cost more than the sofa. (WAIT, WHAT?)
Chi's Sweet Home 26
Father is happy that Chi will come near him again… but it's not okay that she's scratching up his 500$ vintage jeans! He tries to appease her with a cheaper pair, but Chi has high-class tastes. In the end, Chi's not allowed to scratch anything that she wants to scratch, and sulks in a corner. Father realizes (finally?) that he should go buy a scratching post. By the time he's bought it, however, it's too late - Chi's made a mess of his vintage jeans
Chi's Sweet Home 27
Father's brought home a scratching board, though like last time, Chi finds the plastic bag infinitely better. Chi then thinks that the board is a bed, and when Father tries to show her that it's for scratching (by forcibly pressing her paws) she scratches HIM. Uh oh, Father is hated again. It doesn't help that Mother drafts Father to trim Chi's claws… that'll be fun.
Chi's Sweet Home 28
It's time to cut Chi's claws, with poor Dad taking the task. Chi is obviously freaked out, though so is Dad — if he cuts her claws wrong, they will bleed. After much tension, he gives up. Chi decides to get smart with him and is about scratch him, but Youhei and Mom clamp her down. Renewing his effort, Dad cuts a claw! With the help of his son and wife, he's able to get all of Chi's claws trimmed. Unfortunately, now Chi hates him even more.
Thoughts:
Omg I cringed so much at the claw trimming. Poor Dad! No love for him. ;_; Hopefully Chi will appreciate her trimmed claws… or maybe not.
On another note:
I thought I'd throw this in here to avoid the massive amount of publicity, as well as any accusations of being a braggart. Wanted to say that I reached a goal I've been striving for the past month: hitting 1,000 viewers within a day. Take a look:
I'm so happy! Thanks to all my visitors/people who kept my blog on refresh. I <3 you all.

Congrats on the 1000 views a day!
I was really surprised when the dad mentioned his pants were more expensive than the couch as well, it still doesn’t make much sense to me. How vintage can they be?!

That is, unfortunately, so true of pets.

Am i missing something ? People buy “vintage” clothes, and actually WEAR them ?
Does it make any sense to someone ?
Who thought up to sell “vintage” clothing in the first place ?

Why wear, indeed?
@ Caitlin: Or anyone, actually. Can’t say I was too happy when I had to get a shot for the first time.
@ Ez: A point there? Your thought is incomplete =(
@ lostty & Ez: Thanks! Of course, my hits have all but died down since…
